An appeal may be requested only when a teacher has not completed all of the credential requirements, and has a valid reason for not doing so. Appeals are granted by CTC on a case-by-case basis, and if granted, the credential will be extended for one year. For more information visit the CTC website.
To apply for an appeal collect all application materials. Use the following guide as a checklist for your application packet. To print applications, click on the application name. Collect all application materials. All applications will be submitted to your district credential technician.
If at any time you have questions about this application process, please contact the credential technician at your employing school district. Apply early, usual processing time is about 4 weeks after our office receives your application. We cannot expedite applications.
