Program Description
Teen Outreach North is a Youth and Community Services program designed for youth, ages 14-17, residing in North County. The services provided are especially designed for youth at high risk due to drugs. The program assists teens in beginning a recovery program, setting goals for school and work, and planning their futures. Juvenile Court and Community Schools (JCCS) provides the educational component of the Teen Outreach, grades 7-12. This component addresses the students' needs by providing a full school programs including technology, literacy, and academic performance. The educational program is staffed with a credentialed teacher and a teacher assistant. Administrative support is provided through the JCCS North County Regional Office.
