What's Happening Now
Ready for Summer Learning: We know the end of the school year is a packed time for administrators and educators.
Add assessments, the California School Dashboard, and your LCAP work to the mix, and it's tough to make time to find quality professional learning events to attend over the summer months.
The Learning and Leadership Services (LLS) division at the San Diego County Office of Education has you covered with about five dozen different opportunities to learn, grow, and expand your knowledge and skills.
What You Missed
Unwrap Evidence of Learning: To support our educators, the LLS team boosted its upcoming events with an added emphasis on formative assessment. We're making sure educators can successfully implement state standards and gather evidence of learning every day to make sure all students are on track.
LLS Has Your Back (to School): Events in every subject area are aligned to state standards and new frameworks to improve your practice and boost student learning. With an eye on data releases and state mandates, the LCAP Guide has supports for your district throughout the year. The county's first Equity Symposium and leadership institutes build the capacity of our district and school leaders, teachers, and counselors to make a difference in every student's life.
