Parent / Family Engagement

Parent engagement is a critical factor of effective schooling, and parent involvement is an integral piece of the new Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP). The SDCOE Parent / Family Engagement staff works in collaboration with school districts, schools, parents, teachers, students, administrators, and community members to enhance parent participation in a child's life. A child's education is a responsibility shared by school, family, and community stakeholders during a child's time in school.
