The San Diego County Office of Education offers preparatory courses for the CTEL test, which you take to obtain your CLAD, and the CSET-LOTE, which is the replacement for the test that you took to obtain your BCLAD. For more information about these certificates, please contact our credentials unit.
These recorded sessions are designed to help teachers prepare for the CTEL (California Teachers of English Learners) exam, in order to support teachers in attaining their authorization to provide instruction to English learners.
Please note that these are asynchronous self-guided courses

Module 1: Language and Language Development — online registration
Module 2: Assessment and Instruction — online registration
Module 3: Culture and Inclusion — online registration
COST: $100 per person, per module, or $50 each when enrolling in multiple modules.
