Well-known business reporter George Chamberlin will be moderating a four-person panel sharing information and tips on the true cost of college. Come hear from a student, a financial planner, a repayment specialist, and a member of the higher education community as they cover this important topics from all angels. This event is perfect for students, parents, financial professionals, community partners, military personnel, higher education employees, non-profit agencies, and the community at large.
The SDFLC opened its doors to the public in February 2014. Its mission is to educate and empower individuals and families to make sound financial decisions and develop positive personal finance habits for life.
All SDFLC Education Series events are free and open to the public. Events cover “hot topics” in the financial world like the impact of the Affordable Care Act on businesses in San Diego and the real cost of doing business in California.
