School Safety

The Student Attendance, Safety and Well-Being unit provides training, technical assistance, and direct services to assist school districts in developing and supporting their Comprehensive School Safety Plans. These plans utilize of the National Incident Management System (NIMS), Incident Command System (ICS), and emphasize the development of strategies to prevent, mitigate, prepare, and respond to and recover from crises that have the potential to impact schools.

Workshops & Resources

School Safety training on the following topics are scheduled throughout the year at SDCOE facilities.
