Supporting Our Military-Connected Students
Recognize the contributions and sacrifices our military-connected students make to our schools and communities during Month of the Military Child. Supporting this student population, ensuring they feel seen and heard, and having a community to call home is key to their success.
Facilitating Dialogue with Compassion
Classrooms should be safe spaces for having guided and civil discussions about topics that are politically charged or difficult to discuss. SDCOE offers educators social and emotional resources, as well as tips for creating a safe environment for students and facilitating dialogue with compassion.
