JCCS Celebrates Parent Engagement at Annual Leadership Conference
Juvenile Court and Community Schools (JCCS) welcomed 38 participants to its Parent Leadership Conference in June at 37ECB community school, offering families a day of hands-on learning and celebration. The event highlighted the contributions of parents who have actively supported JCCS programs throughout the year.

Families engaged in Career Technical Education (CTE) sessions aligned with student coursework in barista skills, graphic arts, and horticulture, giving parents firsthand insight into the opportunities available across JCCS schools. School Social Worker Yaritza Siqueiros led a meditative guided painting workshop, introducing attendees to visual and performing arts learning in a calming, creative format.
Culinary arts students prepared and served lunch, showcasing the professional skills they have developed through their program. Parent and staff leaders were honored for their dedication and impact on the school community.
The conference concluded with lively karaoke, underscoring the strong sense of community and connection that defines JCCS schools.
