Discover Your Next Career Move in Education at Careers in Education Job Fair April 18

Explore a variety of teaching and non-teaching positions available at school districts and charter schools across the county at the annual Careers in Education Job Fair on Saturday, April 18.

"This event is an excellent chance for anyone interested in working in education to meet with districts and charters who are ready to hire," said Calipso Barrera Gomez, a project specialist with the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE). “Attendees can gather valuable guidance that supports their journey into the field.”

Participants will be able to speak one-on-one with district and charter representatives, learn about different career pathways, and access resources such as financial planning and investment advice to support their long‑term goals.

The job fair is organized by SDCOE in partnership with Point Loma Nazarene University and will occur in two segments from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Liberty Station Conference Center in San Diego. Register for your preferred timeslot:

Job seekers are encouraged to dress professionally and bring copies of their resume and letters of recommendation. Some districts may interview on the spot, while others will collect your resume in anticipation of an opening within their district.

A wide variety of positions are available, including classroom teaching and substitute roles, as well as essential non‑teaching jobs such as after-school program staff, bus drivers, child nutrition assistants, campus supervisors, noon duty supervisors, health clerks, instructional aides, maintenance workers, and nurses.
