Education Professionals Involved in Grants to Gather in October at Annual Conference

Education Professionals Involved in Grants to Gather in October at Annual Conference

Registration is now open for the Grant Professionals Network Conference happening in San Diego Oct. 28-29, hosted by the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE), Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE), and California County Superintendents.

Register Now

The conference is ideal for education professionals that support some aspects of grants in their organization and are looking to learn more about grant development, administration, and management.

“Collaboration and clarity around grants are so important right now when funding is uncertain,” said SDCOE’s Gabriela B. Delgado, who co-leads the network with SCCOE’s Allison Book-Arrango. “This is an opportunity for grant professionals and educators from county offices of education, school districts, and charter schools to share best practices and cultivate an extensive collaborative network.”

In addition to growing knowledge and networking, attendees will have the opportunity to learn how to leverage the power of storytelling from keynote speaker Samantha Ramirez-Herrera, whose strategies will help participants deliver messages and ideas in an authentic and moving way. Other session topics include AI and implications for grants, braiding and leveraging funds, and tips for competing for federal grants.

Registration is open to county office of education and school district/charter school staff.

The COE Grants Professionals Network, a subcommittee of the California County Superintendents, launched in 2023 to support educational leaders in their quest to develop and manage grants, offering regular convenings that focus on collaboration, professional learning, and sharing resources.
