Equity is Love in Action: Conversations in Community
Join the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) this May for a three‑session regional learning series for schools and districts.
Equity is Love in Action: Conversations in Community is a free series designed to extend the learning of SDCOE’s Equity Conference, offering regional educators the opportunity to attend one or more sessions to continue networking, sharing, and learning how to advance equity in schools.
Each gathering will also include dedicated networking time, providing participants with space to connect, exchange ideas, and build community. Space is limited; register by selecting the date you wish you attend.
Through facilitated discussions, participants will explore current challenges, effective strategies, and persistent opportunity gaps that shape efforts to support students across our region. This collaborative space will deepen understanding of why this work matters, highlight emerging opportunities, and explore the impact on student experiences.
Each conversation will create space for reflection, collaboration, and practical insight grounded in the real experiences emerging from our schools and districts, all aligned to core themes from SDCOE's Equity Blueprint for Action.

Co‑Creating Empowering School Communities: Strengthening Adult‑Youth Partnerships, Elevating Student Leadership, and Designing Inspiring College and Career Pathways
Register to attend May 6 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
This session includes an optional, complimentary lunch from 12 to 12:30 p.m.
Cultivating Culturally Responsive Educators: Strengthening Representation and Belonging
Register to attend May 13 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
This session includes an optional, complimentary breakfast from 8:30 to 9 a.m.
Creating Healing‑Centered Schools: Interrupting Bullying and Hate
Register to attend May 13 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
This session includes an optional, complimentary lunch from 12 to 12:30 p.m.

Students from Canyon Crest Academy in the San Dieguito Union High School District have been named California State Champions in the 2026 Presidential AI Challenge.
