Four Escondido Union High Schools Receive College Board Recognition

Four Escondido Union High Schools Receive College Board Recognition

The Escondido Union High School District (EUHSD) is proud to announce that four district high schools have
been recognized as being 2025 AP Honor Roll Schools by the College Board, a prestigious recognition to schools that have demonstrated significant growth in student access to Advanced Placement (AP) coursework and increased performance on AP exams. The recognition celebrates the development of an AP program that creates a college-going culture and gives students opportunities to earn college credit and to maximize their college outcomes.

The following EUHSD schools received recognition:

Silver Level

  • Escondido High School
  • San Pasqual High School

Bronze Level

  • Del Lago Academy
  • Orange Glen High School

To qualify for the 2025 AP School Honor Roll, schools meet or exceed the criteria given for recognition level for: College Culture, College Credit, and College Optimization. The College Board’s AP School Honor Roll is an annual recognition for school districts.

“This recognition reflects the hard work and commitment of our students, teachers, counselors, and school staff,” said Jon Petersen, Superintendent of EUHSD. “We are proud of our schools for supporting academic excellence and creating pathways that prepare students for college and future opportunities.”

EUHSD remains committed to offering rigorous learning experiences and expanding equitable opportunities for students across the district.
