What Tenderness Can Teach Us - Jan. 8

Observing our emotions without judgment and with an open heart can help develop a greater sense of acceptance for ourselves and others, even when things are difficult. It can help us recognize our own suffering and treat ourselves with kindness and understanding, fostering self-compassion. This way we can become more attuned to the experiences of others, leading to greater empathy and compassion.

Developing Harmony - Jan. 15

Developing a state of balanced existence, both within oneself and with the world around involves cultivating mutual respect, cooperation, and peaceful coexistence, ultimately leading to a fulfilling and meaningful life. This kind of harmony is seen as the foundation for building a peaceful and prosperous society.

Inviting Your Heart into Meditation - Jan. 22

This webinar will discuss cultivating a beneficial attitude in your mindfulness practice. Mindfulness can be practiced solely through our mind, but there are many benefits to inviting your heart into practice. Learning to practice with compassion and non-judgment will provide a foundation for how to tend to any physical or emotional discomfort that arises during meditation. Including our heart increases our capacity to stay with any challenge that arises in meditation and will help new meditators from giving up in frustration.

Developing Good Values - Jan. 29

Through mindfulness of the body, heart, and mind, we develop values and ways of behaving in a more honest, honorable, and virtuous way. We likewise gain an understanding of the root causes of ethical behavior and how to apply these principles in daily life. We will discuss ethical dilemmas, promote critical thinking, and foster empathy and respect for diverse perspectives.
