Getting to Know SDCOE: Monica Robinson
Monica Robinson has gone out of her way to make a difference in her more than 25 years at the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE).
The credential analyst is immersed in many different aspects of life at SDCOE, including volunteering at annual job fairs, involvement with the Classified School Employees Association, offering training to districts and colleagues, and rallying her team for engagement activities.
“She is continually thinking of how she and the department can bolster our local educational agencies in support of the children they support,” said Casey Choate, who works with her. “Monica cares about people. She wants to support them, educate them, and celebrate them.”
Her work is always accurate, detailed, and professional, Choate added.
She has also embraced organizational goals such as our commitments and North Star by encouraging her team to imagine new ways to support the organization and provide excellent service.
“Monica is a shining example of the ideal colleague,” said Lauren Saincome, a human resources project specialist. “Her contagious smile and positive attitude set a high standard, complemented by her commitment to helping others. Working with Monica is an absolute pleasure; she truly embodies the human-centered culture of SDCOE."
