Getting to Know SDCOE: Candace Wong
By setting goals and keeping motivated, Candace Wong has contributed in many ways to the success of the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) and local districts.
As a project management assistant with the Enterprise Project Management Office, she has been involved in big projects like the implementation of Microsoft Teams and Adobe Acrobat Sign. That work includes planning, ideating, scheduling, project reporting, and task management.
“Every single day since she started, Candace has demonstrated that she stands for excellence in everything she does,” said Peyri Herrera, who works with her.
And her impact isn’t only felt at SDCOE. She also has supported districts with important technology-related projects.
“Candace Wong made a remarkable impact for our district,” said Kirby Fell, a senior project manager who worked with Wong on a project when it was part of the Fallbrook Union Elementary School District. “Her ability to handle challenges with grace was an inspiration to the entire Fallbrook team.”
Getting to Know SDCOE is a regular feature at sdcoe.net that highlights the important work of different members of the team.
