Jan. 27 Late Start Schedules
The safety of students and school staff is of the utmost importance to San Diego County school districts.
Due to inclement weather and icy road conditions, schools in the following districts will follow late start schedules for Jan. 27 to ensure safe travel for students and staff:
- Julian Union School District
- Julian Union High School District
- Mountain Empire Unified School District
- Spencer Valley School District
- Warner Unified School District

Wheelhouse Credit Union is encouraging San Diego college-bound high school seniors to apply for its 2025 scholarship programs. Open to any local students, these programs will provide $10,000 in scholarships.
Dr. Rebecca Penh, an executive leadership coach at the San Diego County Office of Education, was named this year’s County Office Educator of the Year by the California Association of Asian and Pasifika Leaders in Education.
