New Mental Health and Wellness Webinar Series for Parents and Caregivers

New Mental Health and Wellness Webinar Series for Parents and Caregivers

Parents and caregivers interested in learning how to support their children with mental health topics can learn more and gain new tools in a series of free webinars.

In partnership with Transforming Mental Health Initiative at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego, the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) is hosting the free sessions to help families through all-too-common mental health struggles in young people.

For educators and other school staff members who support student mental health and wellness, learn more about the webinar series designed for school staff

"Our children and teens have experienced unprecedented loss and disruption to their lives combined with international war, a growing national political divide, high levels of stress and burnout among adults, and more access than ever before to social media platforms and online information," said Mara Madrigal-Weiss, SDCOE's Student Wellness and School Culture executive director. "Our families need tools to be able to identify mental health struggles and get our youth the help they need."

Parents, caregivers, and family members from across San Diego County are encouraged to attend. Registration is required to receive the link to join. Spanish interpretation will be available for every session.

All sessions are from 6 to 7 p.m.

You can view recorded webinars on the Mental Health Supports webpage.
