The San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) provides technical assistance and oversight for school districts on fiscal issues, assisting districts with a variety of topics, including property taxes, special education funding, categorical funding, and the federal Every Student Succeeds Act.
SDCOE also coordinates governing board member elections for school and community college districts and school district organization for the County Board of Education, acting as the County Committee on School District Organization.
