The live board meeting webcast is available starting at 6 p.m. on the day of the meeting unless otherwise indicated.

If you are having difficulty viewing the webcast and have Sophos Antivirus installed on your computer, have your tech support turn off any type of "real time scanning" that might be in place with antivirus programs. It can be turned back on after the webcast has ended.

Please test your system ASAP and if you have any problems, contact SDCOE's Computer Support Services at 858-292-3626. Webcasts can be viewed live and archived via a computer, smartphone, or tablet.
The links for the live webcast are not active until the day (or even hours before) the event. If the webcast has not started, you will see “Check back soon! The webcast is upcoming.” There is no audio prior to the start of the webcast.
When the window opens, the webcast will load. If you do not have a media player go to Adobe Flash Player and follow the instructions for the free media player. You are not required to purchase the media player. If you are prompted to input payment, information you have selected the wrong media player.
Registration:
If registration is required, you must register for the webcast in order to receive credit. For company name, please put the name of your school or district. After you input all of the information, click Submit.
Viewing a webcast
When the webcast window opens you will see the following: The Webcast will load automatically. Please make sure your speakers are connected and turned up. Remember that the links for a live webcast are not active until the day (even hours before) the event. If the webcast has not started, you will see “Check back soon! This webcast is upcoming.” There is no audio. When the webcast link is live, you will see and hear.
The presenter will be shown and switched between seeing the PowerPoint presentation, computer screen, video conference, and other digital media. For a live webcast. the Chapters link will not be active. For an archived webcast click on Chapters and this will show you a list of links to topics that were discussed in the webcast.
Below the video window is where one can ask questions, download resources, access tech support, answer polls. Click on the tab you want to use.
To ask a question click on the “Questions?” tab, type in the information and click submit. Resources are a list of documents to download.
To download documents click on the document(s) you want to download to your computer. Choose whether you want to open or save it.

Polling (if available) is where you may find questions the presenter would like for you to answer. To view the polling questions if they are available, click on the “Polling” tab.
