Charter School Services

Charter School Services ensures organizational efficiency by developing and administering oversight for the nine SDCOE authorized charter schools. The team also provides technical assistance and training to San Diego County charter schools and school districts related to charter school oversight, operations, and legal requirements. The team tracks and interprets legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures related to charter school oversight and operations, as well as organizing key information about the 131 charter schools in San Diego County.

Join us for our upcoming Charter School LCAP Series. These sessions will provide targeted guidance on developing and completing your LEA's LCAP.

Time: 9 to 10 a.m.
Focus Areas:

  • March 11- Completing your Annual Update, planning for and implementing data collection, and maintaining strong stakeholder engagement
  • April 8- Data collection and completing the first draft of LCAP
  • May 6- Preparing for the final draft
