Overseeing the functions of the facilities and operations for the County Office is the responsibility of the Maintenance and Operations department.

In addition to providing building and ground maintenance, the team also maintains the County Office of Education's fleet transportation unit, which includes a two-way delivery system between the County Office and local schools for media, library books, financial documents, and student systems records.
A prime function of Maintenance and Operations is the coordination of audiovisual equipment, warehousing operations, central supply services, and room reservation needs at the County Office of Education.
