To support strong Program Management (Quality Standard 11), SDCOE outlines the need for strong participation by a qualified district/charter contact. Specifically, the district/charter shall identify a qualified district/charter contact to be the direct liaison between the ASES program and SDCOE, attending all monthly San Diego Expanded Learning Consortium meetings. The term "qualified" describes the district/charter contact's ability to have access to paths of communication with district/charter administration to enable the success of their duties and to ensure quality programs that comply with California EDC Sections 8482-8484.65 and Assurance 4 of ASES Grant Award Assurances. In this regard, the role of the district/charter contact includes:

1. General program oversight
2. Programmatic development
3. Compliance responsibility
4. Reporting responsibility

Note: The Oct. 13 and Feb. 9 meetings will be held in person.
