The Latest on COVID-19

Schools should continue to follow guidance outlined in the COVID-19 Public Health Guidance for K–12 Schools to Support Safe In-Person Learning, 2022–2023 School Year updated June 30 and found in the Safe Schools For All hub.

The San Diego County public health order is updated regularly to reflect guidance from the state on schools, and provides county-level guidelines to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. The COVID-19 Decision Trees also are regularly updated to reflect the latest guidance. 

To ensure that parents remain aware of all available food distribution sites for children, SDCOE has information on its website regarding ongoing feeding sites operated by Feeding San Diego, the San Diego Food Bank, and 2-1-1 San Diego, and information about the Pandemic EBT program.
