ELA/ELD Leaders Network

ELA/ELD Leaders Network

SDCOE is reimagining the ELA /ELD Leaders Network! Our team is excited to announce that we will continue to support coaches, TOSAs and district leaders in developing leadership voice, designing professional learning, providing instructional coaching, and integrating literacy instruction through the content areas with an added emphasis on English language development.

During the main network meetings, we will be your connection to the content, resources, opportunities, and announcements shared at the CISC ELA/ELD subcommittee meetings. We added learning workgroups (topics to be selected on Feb.12) to take a deeper look at the Literacy Content Blocks, P-3 Progressions, ELA/ELD Framework, etc.
 

Dates:

  • Thursday, Oct. 16 at Comic Con Museum (virtual option available)
  • Network Meeting on Thursday, Dec. 11 via Zoom, 9 to 10:30 a.m. 
  • Network Meeting on Thursday, Feb. 12 via Zoom, 9 to 10:30 a.m. 
  • Learning Workgroup 1 on Thursday, March 12 via Zoom from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
  • Network Meeting on Thursday, April 16 via Zoom, 9 to 10:30 a.m. 
  • Learning Workgroup 2 on Thursday, May 21 via Zoom from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
