The Arts Empower Mega Conference returned in Sept. 2022 as an opportunity for educators, artists, and leaders to network and learn about effective, relevant, and engaging student learning practices. The event kicked off Sept. 14 with a virtual welcome, keynote from Rafael Lopez, and a learning session. Sept. 15 began virtually in the morning and shifted to in-person events at regional hubs in the late afternoon and evening. Thank you to our hosts at Mesa College, Palomar College, and Southwestern College. The arts matter, and this annual gathering was a reminder to arts educators of their importance to our school systems and our students' current and future wellbeing.
