CALPADS
California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS) is the longitudinal data system used to maintain individual-level data including student demographics, course data, discipline, assessments, staff assignments, and other data for state and federal reporting.
SDCOE's CALPADS Connections is San Diego's network of school districts, charter schools, SELPAs and County Office of Education working together to leverage knowledge and support each other with CALPADS reporting.
Submittal Periods
Each year, CALPADS requires data submissions during three reporting periods: Fall 1, Fall 2, and EOY.

CALPADS Special Education Data Fall Roadshows 2025
These sessions will train local special education data coordinators and special education local plan area (SELPA)-level staff on the updates and changes for the CALPADS Fall 1 Submission as well as other special education-related data. The training will cover:
- Fall 1 CALPADS Data Submission and Reports
- What’s new for Fall 1
- State Performance Plan (SPP)/Annual Performance Report Indicators using Fall 1 data
- Data for Annual Determinations Letter (ADL)
