Esports is a growing academic area. SDCOE takes a comprehensive approach to assist districts and schools as they explore the possibilities of adding an esports competitive team or an after school gaming club. Below are the opportunities that SDCOE offers our districts:

Esports Coaching Clinic: We offer both a cohort model and a self paced Alludo course that will provide the learner with the tools needed to start their school's esport club or competitive league.

Esports Coaches Network: Join educators throughout San Diego county who are providing students safe, fun, and competitive opportunities while introducing them to school and career pathways in the field of computer science and gaming, and even the potential for college scholarships. 

Tournaments: SDCOE partners with various organizations to offer tournaments throughout the year. 

Consulting: We will work with your school or district help navigate the new and exciting world of esports. 

SDCOE supports districts and schools in designing and creating new, innovative technology integration plans and workshops to take your district technology initiatives to the next level. Technology integration plans will help districts to make inform decisions, support strategic initiatives, foster innovation, attract qualified teachers, and expand and enhance services. Educational technology coaching empowers educators to inspire the best from teachers, staff, and students utilizing the latest proven practices in technology integration. The program will improve student achievement, address identified gaps, help schools bring community into the plan, build skills amongst the marginalized students and families and build capacity of technology integration amongst in the school community. The SDCOE team will support you to develop dynamic leaders working in schools and districts to strategically support standards-based technology integration throughout the curriculum. We do this through support with:
