World Languages
In our global, interconnected world, proficiency in multiple languages opens a world of opportunities for students. In addition to professional advancement, economic success, and cultural proficiency, multilingual education offers many cognitive advantages, such as mental flexibility, enhanced ability to learn, strong memory, and increased creativity.
The San Diego County Office of Education is committed to the vision set forth in the Global California 2030 initiative. Through our professional learning opportunities, research-based practices, technical support, and collaborative networks, we effectively support educational agencies, teachers, and students in bringing the Global California 2030 vision to fruition.
