  • The purpose of this grant is to help offset the cost of completing a teacher credential program.  Participants will be reimbursed for approved expenditures after they have submitted an invoice and proof of payment. Approved expenditures may include tuition, books, testing, and other academic support services.

  • One major goal of the program is to support all participants in passing both the CBEST and CSET in a timely manner.  An online course has been created and will be offered through Feather River and Mendocino College. All qualifying participants will be expected to enroll in this course.  Available funds from the grant can be used to offset the approximately $200 cost of the course. Upon passing both the CBEST and CSET, participants who are NOT enrolled in a credential program will continue to take a series of online courses (one per semester) through Feather River College.

  • If you are interested in participating in this grant opportunity, please contact your district human resource services office to verify their participation in the grant.  Your human resource office will have the application materials required to submit to the program.
