The Multilingual Education and Global Achievement department of the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) is committed to the vision set forth in the Global California 2030 initiative. Through our professional learning opportunities, research-based practices, technical support, and collaborative networks; we support educational agencies, teachers, and students in bringing the Global California 2030 vision to fruition.
The California State Board of Education (SBE) adopted the California World Languages Standards for Public Schools, Kindergarten Through Grade Twelve (WL Standards) in January of 2019.
