Applications are now available for two popular teacher grant programs offered by the San Diego County Foundation.
The Foundation’s San Diego Teachers´ Fund K-6 Program provides grants to
elementary public school teachers (including publicly funded charter
schools) with five years of experience or less in the classroom for the
development and implementation of innovative classroom projects. Grants
of up to $2,000 are available.
The San Diego Teachers’ Fund Arts in the Classroom Program provides
grants to public high school arts teachers (including publicly funded
charter schools) in grades 9-12 when funds are insufficient or
unavailable. Grants of up to $1,000 are available.
The San Diego Foundation established the San Diego Teachers’ Fund in 1995 to support dedicated teachers throughout the county.
