Do you know an innovative educator who has started a project
or program that deserves recognition?
Any district educator, parent, or community member can
nominate a program for the 2015 Innovation in Education Awards, which are
presented by the Classroom of the Future Foundation.
Awardees will be recognized for innovative uses of
educational technology in classrooms, homes, campuses, and districts. Awards
will be given out for programs that inspire, innovate, achieve, and have an
impact. There will also be additional awards this year for Innovation in
Technology, Innovative Superintendent, Innovative Educator, Innovative
Principal, and Visionary and Outstanding Leadership.
Nominations are open for the awards through March 15. They
will be reviewed by a panel of judges, and the winners’ schools will receive a
total of $25,000. An online application form, is available on the Classroom of the Future website.
The awards ceremony will be held May 20 at the University of UC San Diego.
