Live Well San Diego, in partnership with the San Diego County Office of Education, is sharing best practices for schools on improving student wellness and reducing childhood obesity through its Tools for Schools resource kit.
The toolkit highlights innovative and practical programs for educators, school policymakers, parents, and other key stakeholders that can be tailored to meet the needs of their student population and community.
The goal is to help schools implement changes and policies that make it easier for children and families to be healthy. Educators from throughout the county provided input on the policies, programs, and partnerships included in the toolkit.
