Teacher Technology Grant

Grants of $1,000 are available to K-12 teachers for purchasing virtual reality (VR) equipment for their classroom. To apply, teachers must submit a creative lesson plan explaining how VR equipment can enhance student engagement and educational experiences by means of interactive learning. National Council of Teachers of English Awards

The National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) and Penguin Random House Teacher Award for Lifelong Readers and the Maya Angelou Teacher Award for Poetry are open for applications and nominations. The awards of $10,000 recognize K-12 teachers with innovative projects that advance literacy and encourage students to become lifelong readers in all genres and in poetry. Student Design Competition

Recognize a high school or post-high school student studying graphic communications/printing, graphic design, advertising, or interactive media programs who has designed or produced a printed greeting card for any occasion. Awards range from $2000 to $1000. Instructors can submit one entry each for an unlimited number of students by the deadline of June 7. Learn more on the Association for Print Technologies website.
