Join hundreds of educators in learning about integrating science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) into the early childhood education setting at the 17th annual Early Years Conference March 6 and 7.
The two-day conference targets early care and education professionals serving children from infancy through kindergarten, in center-based, school district, and family child care settings.
Hear from math and science expert Aileen Rizo, who will deliver the keynote address on March 6, and numerous other early education professionals who focus on STEAM-related topics.
Session topics include the Growing Brain: Birth to Five Years Old; Discover, Experiment, Explore: Science Activities for Young Children; and Music, Movement and Science: Wow, this is Fun!
Goals for the conference include equipping the workforce to prepare developmentally appropriate, inclusive and culturally sensitive approaches in STEAM subjects, and promoting and increasing awareness of the importance of introducing STEAM education in early childhood (Birth to 5).
