The sixth annual Live Well Advance Conference and Schools Summit will take place virtually Nov. 17 and 18, connecting participants with community leaders and organizations working to advance a shared vision of a healthy, safe, and a thriving San Diego region.

The conference features sessions on a variety of general health and wellness topics, as well as breakout sessions on school-specific topics relating to attendance supports, health literacy, youth engagement around alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs, and student mental health and wellness.

The Schools Summit is intended for school administrators and staff including counselors, social workers, nurses, and other staff supporting students in schools, as well as parents/caregivers, and youth.

The free conference is hosted by Live Well San Diego and the County of San Diego in partnership with the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE). SDCOE's Mara Madrigal-Weiss, Heather Nemour, and Jim Crittenden will be speaking at the event alongside more than 20 others.

Keynote speakers include Trier Bryant and Kim Scott from Just Work, experts on workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies, and Trabian Shorters, author of the award-winning cognitive framework, Asset-Framing for Equity.
