Registration is now open for the 2022 Equity Conference on Jan. 20 and 21 at the San Diego Convention Center.
The annual conference brings together district and school leaders, teachers, parents, students, and community members committed to educational equity to collectively grow our knowledge and work for students.
Educational equity means all students have access, opportunities, and supports to thrive in school. Social or cultural factors should not predict whether students are prepared for college and career.
The conference will help build on the work of educators and allies to engage in effective, systemic change and better respond to the linguistic, cultural, social-emotional, and mental health needs of all students.
The 2022 Equity Conference event theme is Equity is Love in Action and the event is expected to connect hundreds people with each other and with equity learning and practices that can be implemented the next day. To learn more and register for the event, visit www.sdcoe.net/EC2022.
Register early for discounted rates of $350 per person, $325 per person if you register as part of a group, $150 for students, and no cost for parents who are part of a school site team that registers under the group rate. The early registration rate will close Oct. 31.
