Local educators can get free registration for the upcoming Go Virtual! Career Pathways Conference, which will offer opportunities to find new strategies for high-quality career-ready instruction in classes impacted by COVID-19.
The conference, hosted by the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE), will feature breakout sessions and keynote presentations from noon to 4 p.m. Oct. 14 and 15.
"As teachers address the many challenges we are facing, we also know there have been amazing innovations in teaching and learning," said Jewyl Clarke, integrated curriculum coordinator with SDCOE. "As educators develop creative and meaningful ways to support students in a distance learning, blended learning, or socially distanced in-classroom learning, we want to provide the opportunity to share their amazing work and make a difference, not only for students, but also in support of other teachers along the way."
Registration is open now as is the call for presenters by Sept. 10.
