Celebrate My Drive encourages teens to make positive choices behind the wheel, like Drive 2N2® — 2 eyes on the road, 2 hands on the wheel.
The Celebrate My Drive campaign challenges high schools to explain how they will address a teen driver safety issue at their high school or in their communities. High school students can use creative elements to incorporate #Drive2N2 into their activities and communicate safe teen driving.
Twenty-two high schools will win a $100,000 grant and one lucky high school will win a private concert by Echosmith.
Carlsbad High School is one of a handful of finalists in the contest. It is the only school in San Diego County to be a finalist for the grant and one of just three high schools in Southern California to qualify as a finalist.
If Carlsbad win, students will create and distribute video content for all high schools in the County to use in targeted classrooms or via broadcast on closed circuit TV programs. A win for Carlsbad is a win for all schools in the County!
To win, Carlsbad High has to accumulate a massive amount of online votes before the end of the day on Friday, Nov. 13.
Vote now and help spread the word via e-mail and social media! The voting process is simple:
- Log onto www.celebratemydrive.com and cast a vote for Carlsbad High School
- People may vote more than once (once every 24 hours).
- Voting starts ends on Nov. 13
