The safety and security of students, faculty, and staff is of the utmost importance to schools across the county.
Inclement weather – which can affect the ability of students and employees to get to school, and present particular challenges for school buses traveling on icy, winding roads – has led the following school districts to close campuses on Feb. 6, 2019:
- Julian Union School District
- Julian Union High School District
- Spencer Valley School District
- Warner Unified School District
Moutain Empire School District schools will start one hour later than usual.
As storm and road conditions change, each school district will continue to monitor the local emergency situation and make school closure decisions on a day-by-day basis.
