About Us

Hello! It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Friendship School community. Friendship School is a specialized educational setting serving students with extensive support needs, including those with complex medical needs who require a highly supportive environment to fully access their education. We proudly operate five classrooms spanning preschool through transition-age programs for students ages 18 to 22. Each classroom is staffed by a credentialed teacher and supported by two dedicated instructional attendants.

Our program is further strengthened by a full-time nurse, as well as part-time Designated Instructional Services (DIS) providers, including Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy. We collaborate closely with each student’s district of residence to ensure access to the full range of essential supports and services.

At Friendship School, we take great pride in offering a program that integrates rigorous, standards-aligned instruction with highly specialized care. Our team is deeply committed to ensuring that every student has access to meaningful, engaging, and individualized educational experiences. We believe that all students deserve to be seen, valued, and supported in a community that centers their strengths, needs, and potential.

As principal, I bring over 27 years of experience serving students with disabilities in classroom, site, and district leadership roles. Leading Friendship School and growing its capacity to serve students and partnering with families to build a thriving, inclusive community has been the highlight of my career.
