With support from the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE), you can network with other school social workers, find professional learning opportunities, and gain valuable resources for you, your students, and your colleagues.

SDCOE's School Social Work Priorities

  • Supports small school districts and SDCOE programs by organizing the implementation of social-emotional mental health support services
  • Provides placement and field experience through internships by partnering and collaborating with universities throughout California, BSW, MSW, and MSW-PPSC
  • Supports professional development for school social workers and administrators through the School Social Work Leadership Consortium
  • Provides school social work resources and technical support to all 42 school districts
