School-Wide Information System (SWIS)

SWIS is a reliable, confidential, web-based information system to collect, summarize, and use student behavior data for decision making. Research tells us educators can make more effective and efficient decisions when they have the right data in the right form at the right time. SWIS provides school personnel with the information they need to be successful decision makers.

SWIS data can inform frequency of office/behavior referrals by types of behavior, location, time, student and motivation. Using this detailed information can serve to guide action planning for school-based prevention and intervention activities.

School/district administrator, members of a school-wide behavior/ discipline committees, or district staff that support school PBIS efforts interested in tracking school-wide discipline and behavior can contact us to arrange training specifically for their school teams.
