Suicide Prevention

September is Suicide Prevention Month

Dear Colleague,

As we enter the new school year, Each Mind Matters would like to offer some resources to bring awareness to suicide prevention.  Although September is suicide prevention month, these tools can be used throughout the year to bring awareness to your school or district.

The online toolkit includes:

  • Social media posts and graphics

  • Daily email templates in English and Spanish to send to families

  • A proclamation template

  • Tools around messaging and working with the media

  • Lots of activity ideas

  • Focused resources for suicide prevention in the workplace, schools, youth, parents and young Latinas

The San Diego County Office of Education is committed to supporting schools, students, and families with resources to address suicide prevention for our students.  Our goal is to support the removal of barriers that impact student success
