District administrators contact the Student Support Services Unit to
ask technical questions regarding potential suspensions/expulsions in
order to ensure due process and legal mandates have been achieved prior
to proceeding with an expulsion process. This assists them in avoiding
the loss of an expulsion appeal, ensures appropriate other means of
correction have been assigned, assists in writing rehabilitation plans,
or ensures students' due process during readmission after the
expulsion period has ended.
