2024-25 San Diego County Teachers of the Year

Recognizing San Diego County teachers

Since 1974, the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) has recognized teachers from across the region for their commitment to teaching and learning. Every year, teachers representing all 42 school districts in the county are invited to apply for San Diego County Teacher of the Year.

For the past 35 years, SDCOE has worked with community partners to recognize San Diego's District and County Teachers of the Year. San Diego County Credit Union (SDCCU) Presents Excellence in Education, formerly known as Salute to Teachers, celebrates the achievements and contributions of San Diego County educators who have been selected as their district or charter school’s teacher of the year.
