Joe Smith

Joe Smith serves from the Department of Family and Community Engagement (FACE) and Community Schools at the Lemon Grove School District. You will often hear him refer to his work as servant leadership. As the director of FACE, Joe supports schools, departments, and team members with the Community Schools grant and Family and Community Engagement-related functions. Smith holds a Master's degree in Education Leadership and a Bachelor's in Sociology from the illustrious Hampton University, where he also won two college football championships. It is Smith’s passion and life's work to serve students, families, staff, and the community.
