Ronald Clark

Born and raised in San Diego and a graduate of Hampton University, Ronald Preston Clark is currently, the CEO of Empowering Mentorships, a 501c3 nonprofit organization. He is also lead teacher/facilitator for the Black InGenius Initiative (BiGI) at the University of San Diego, which serves 120 6th and 7th grade multicultural students and the founder of Club FBS (Fitteds, Books and Sneakers), a book club and mentorship program for 6th-12th grade Black and Latino males serving over 80 students in San Diego County with the goal of improving the literacy rates and social-emotional IQs of its members. In addition, he is an Education and Youth Development Specialist for the San Diego Urban League’s Project Ready, a college readiness program for high school students.
