Tamara Allen-Muhammad

Tamara Allen-Muhammad, a San Diego native, is a passionate educator and advocate for children with over 25 years of experience in urban communities. Committed to equity in education, she works to uplift youth and families through advocacy and support.

A graduate of Lincoln High School, Tamara earned her BA from the University of San Diego and an MA from National University, continually striving to serve her community. She actively contributes to youth empowerment through her work with the Young and Prosperous Foundation, mentoring and guiding young people toward success. As a devoted mother and grandmother, she finds joy in guiding her family’s journey, crediting their success to faith and perseverance. For Tamara, family and community are everything.
